It should come as no surprise that all the Alphabet Killer’s victims went to school in Rochester. The map shows the schools attended and their relationship to one another.
After the Alphabet Killer attacked Wanda Walkowicz, the police had enough information to construct the map of the victim’s schools.
The Victims' Schools
Map Legend:
Point 1 – The place where West Main Street becomes Chili Avenue.
Point 2 – The John Williams School No. 5 at 555 North Plymouth Avenue, although this is the back entrance on Verona Street. Carmen Colon attended this school. North Plymouth intersects with Allen Street.
Point 3—Roberto Clemente School No. 8’s former location on Conkey Avenue between Avenue A and Avenue B. Wanda Walkowicz attended this school.
Point 4 – The John James Audubon School No. 33 at 500 Webster Avenue, although the point referenced is the Rosewood Terrace entrance. Michelle Maenza was a former pupil of the school.
The line between Points 1 and 2 slopes at an angle of 36 degrees (13 + 23) from the vertical axis.
The line between Points 2 and 3 slopes at an angle of 13 degrees from the vertical.
The final line between Points 3 and 4 is 16 degrees ( 13 + 3) below the horizontal axis.
Predicting the Third Attack
The key to this map is Point 1. If the police had recognised the importance of this location, they could have constructed the map from the schools of the first two victims.
